This site focuses on the fears and anxieties undergone by students all across the nation and what they have done to help themselves be able to cope with these things. As students arrive in college, they’re scared of having hard classes, a tough professor, or even the multiple deadlines which build up fears and anxieties that lead to the students giving up and failing. Rebecca Cox’s article, The Student Fear Factor, points out many of the fears that students have going into college and what they could be doing to try and work with these things. Being able to overcome fears throughout college struggles could help one be more successful in life for fears tend to act as a barrier that holds us back from reaching a full potential. Having fear in the classroom, or anywhere, is a lack of confidence in ourselves and the goal of this site is to help students deal with this by pointing out ways that have helped other people with anxiety in order to overcome the barriers that keep them from wanting to achieve whatever they are wanting to achieve. Personally, I want to have a career in the sports marketing field, therefore it is important to have confidence in myself. A lack lack of confidence due to fear will not allow me to promote events and products at my best ability. Throughout this website, one will also find things that I have learned to handle fears and anxieties myself.
